home sweet home
this is one of the things we have been so excited to share and it's finally here. readymade magazine featured our place in their summer refashion issue. we feel so lucky and boy do we have a lot of people to thank...
first, we have to start with derek fagerstrom (projects editor at readymade), who we susspect started this whole thing, then there is ilana diamond (photo editor at readymade magazine) who did so much of the coordinating, the amazing melissa kaseman, who came all the way from ca to photograph our place and the tallented katherine sharpe from ny, who wrote the article. we can't even tell you how odd it is to be at whole foods and see the magazine by the register and quietly say to each other... "we're in there".
we were pretty nervous the day of the shoot... but melissa was so great and spent the entire day with us. she even took time to answer stephen's questions about every piece of equipment.

so weird-- i got my issue of readymade this weekend & was wowwing over your home (esp the swing-- i want a boy to buy me a swing!!!) and then today i very randomly stumbled upon your blog. some really smart stuff on here-- thanks for it. :)

i walked down the street too Red Dog Books, my new neighborhood bookstore, and got the magazine. though you are 3000 miles away, it brought you a little closer, sitting on the new-to-me coffee table in front of the new-to-me couch in the new-to-me house. i wish you guys were on the coffee table FOR REALS though. xx
