painting

ever since we started "collecting" thrift furniture, we have been painting it and repainting it. the best part of it being so cheap is that we have no fear or remorse in panting it glossy hot pink then changing our mind and making it battleship grey.

jan of poppytalk asked us to give her a few tips on how we paint our furniture and created a post about it. (click here to see the full post)

(this is how we keep track of the paint, wallpaper and fabrics we use)

could your filing system possibly be any classier?

THis is too funny, i thrifted the same dresser that's reflecting in your photo here, the white one. I recognize the lines and the pulls. I painted mine a glossy turquoise. It was the whole bedroom set, which I passed on and have regretted ever since. But I do LOVE that dresser!

Hey! i love the way you keep record of your paint and wall paper samples! Have you checked out the free wood samples at Ikea! they're great for crafty goodness.
